Signaling of early polls in UT is part of central dispensation's efforts: Sethi

Jammu, Nov 16: BJP State General Secretary Yudhvir Sethi hailed Lieutenant Governor Girish Chander Murmu over his recent statement on conducting Assembly polls soon in the newly carved out Union Territory Jammu and Kashmir.
In a handout issued here, Sethi said that signaling of early polls in the UT is part of central dispensation's efforts to restore normalcy in the region as soon as possible. He also lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for taking a momentous and visionary step to abrogate Article 370 which was the main cause of hampering development and sprouting of law and order problem in the region. He said that the farsightedness shown by the BJP stalwarts in removing the bottlenecks coming in way of progress of erstwhile State is unique and will be written in the history with golden words.
Yudhvir Sethi welcomed LG Murmu's first public statement after assuming office in UT JK that process of elections to Assembly has already begun and soon people will elect their representatives to form democratic government here.
The BJP leader said that era of gloom that was set in the J&K State has already gone and a new ray of hope and happiness has set in with people looking at everything with a changed mindset especially after creation of new UTs of JK and Ladakh. He however, assured wholehearted support of his party and cadre to JK UT's administration in conducting the polls. He also asked the party cadre to gear up for the ensuing polls so that BJP could achieve its target in the JK UT without any difficulty.
