| Awareness programme on 'Childline Se Dosti Week' organised | | |  Early times Report
Poonch, Nov 16: CHILDLINE Poonch, National Development Youth Club organization under Ministry of Women & Child Development, organized a program 'Childline Se Dosti Week', on the eve of celebration of National Children Day in the premises of Nanak Academy Purani Poonch which was inaugurated by Abdul Qayoom Bajar CEO NDYC Founder President) . The Chief Guest on the occasion was Malik Zada Shiraz- Ul -Haq worthy Additional Deputy Commissioner Poonch. During the Program a number of culture / drama items besides various speeches on Children's day were presented by the students.
Abdul Qayoom in his address highlighted the importance of CHILDLINE SE DOSTI program and the role of CHILDLINE 1098 an emergency outreach toll free number for the children in need of care and protection and various Children Rights and how to protect them said that we are going to organize various programs on the eve of celebration of National Children's Week from 14th of November to 20th of November in different far flung areas to cover the whole district. Sabzar Ahmed Co-ordinator CHILDLINE Poonch also highlighted the activities of the CHILDLINE in details and interacted with the Children. Also highlighted various issues faced by the children and their remedies, role of CHILDLINE 1098. |
