Jammu, Nov 16: ITBP organized a Bharat Darshan tour for the students from border area of RS Pura from 9th to 16th of November.
The responsibility to conduct the above tour assigned to Sukhwinder Singh Dhaliwal, Commandant, 52nd Bn ITBP. In this connection MK Singh, DIG, ITBP did flag off the above contingent on 9th of November.
Vinod Kumar, Assistant Commandant of the unit accompanied the tour as a conducting officer. Strength of the contingent was 48 including 35 girls students and 11 boys students along with 02 teachers. During the tour students visited the India gate,Red Fort, Parkiament North Block, South Block, President House etc at Delhi and Gateway of India, Juhu Beach Eliphenta Caves, Taj Hotel etc in Mumbai.
The Flag-in ceremony of above excursion group carried out on 16-11-19 by Sh Ashish Kumar Pandey, Dy. Commandant, of ITBP. All the participant of contingent including teacher staff appreciated ITBP for conducting such a planned and knowledge worthy tour for the students from border area of R.S. Pura, district Jammu, J&K. |
