Inter APS Rolling Trophy, Story Narration, Debate Competition held

Jammu, Nov 16: 26 Infantry Div has pioneered in organizing inter army school competitions to develop the skills of art of public speaking , manifestation of controlled emotions, positive and fruitful interactions with students of army public school making host to all Army schools falling under Jammu Cluster . Following the same, APS Miran Sahib hosted Inter APS rolling trophy story narration for classes 3RD to 5" and debate competition for classes 6th to 12th respectively from 14" to 16" nov'19. On 14" Inaugural of the event was done by presiding officer and chairman school Brig. K. S Kalsi, Cdr 162 INFANTRY BRIGADE along with SO school LT COL Vijay Bhadauria and Principal school Mrs Ritu Sharma. The event opened with children of classes 3RD to 5" who narrated expressive stories on themes i.e wisdom, perseverance & empathy. Stories were in form of fables and anecdotes from real lives. Young narrators were very expressive with excellent diction in taking the attention of the audience. On - & 16TH Nov'19 debate competition was held for classes 6" to 12" respectively .The speakers put their unbiased views for and against the topic allotted further developing the art of public speaking among the students. The three days literary fest culminated on 16 Nov '19 in prize distribution ceremony, where presiding officer of the event and chairman school Brig. K. S Kalsi Cdr 162 INFANTRY BRIGADE felicitated the winners of all three days. The Runner-up school was APS Kaluchak and the winner school was APS Miran Sahib. Chairman school appreciated the efforts of winners, their relentless hard work and making and event a success.
