"Flow of traffic at Surankote bus stand and main bazaar is increasing day in and out but the tehsil administration has so far failed in providing relief to the people from this menace", they said and added that due to non-availability of an alternative route, increasing traffic is adding to the miseries of the masses.
"Even police have failed in properly managing the traffic which results in long irritating jams on day to day basis" locals said and added that huge rush of mini buses, Tata Sumos , buses and mini tempo travellers is adding to the mess as there is proper parking place for them available in the town.
"Few cops deployed in the area hardly bother to manage the traffic and as a result large number of vehicles is parked haphazardly which results in long jams", they said and added that the business community is facing the brunt as bus stand and main road are located adjacent to each other.
