Whistle-blower alleges harassment by SHO, Police other side of story

Jammu, Nov 17: Spearhead of All Parents Association Jammu (APSJ) movement against private schools Amit Kapoor today alleged harassment by SHO Janipur.
Addressing media persons, here today he said that the SHO Janipur has threatened him that he would implicate him in false case. "The SHO alleged me that he will implicate me fake case if i keep fighting for the cause of thousands of poor parents who are being fleeced by the private schools in Jammu", he said. "Amit said that a enquiry should initiated against SHO Naresh Sharma not a single drug peddler has been arrested since he has taken charge of Janipur Police Station", he said. He further said that if anything happens to him or his family or association members SHO Janipur Naresh Sharma will be responsible for same.
However, refuting his allegations SHO Janipur Naresh Sharma said that he (Amit Kapoor) has been booked in various police stations under serious charges. "He has been booked in Pacca Dunga, Bakshi Nagar Police, Nowabad, Janipur Police Stations under various charges. In Janipur Police Station, a case vide FIR number 22/2019 under section 341, 147, 148, 149, 336, 188, 353 and 427 RPC has be registered against Amit Kapoor", he said.
He said that recently prior announcement of Ayodhya verdict, he alongwith other people facing FIRs were summoned in Police Station and were directed to maintain peace.
