JAMMU, Nov 18: Udhampur, Reasi and Samba today accorded an affectionate adieu to Justice Rashid Ali Dar, Judge, High Court of Jammu and Kashmir on his demitting the office here at a farewell function organised in the presence of Justice Rajesh Bindal Ist Puisne Judge, Justice Tashi Rabstan, Justice Sindhu Sharma and other Judges and dignitaries of J&K High Court. Sanjay Dhar, Registrar General of High Court of J&K, Jawad Ahmad, Principal Secretary to Chief Justice, Ms. Bala Jyoti Registrar Rules, Ms Sonia Gupta, Registrar Judicial High Court Wing Jammu, Vinod Chatterji Koul, Chairman J&K Sales Tax Tribunal, Puneet Gupta Judicial Member J&K Special Tribunal, Mohan Lal Manhas PDS&J Udhampur, Mohammad Akram Choudhary PD &SJ Samba, Kamlesh Pandita PD & SJ Reasi, and Judicial Officers of Jammu province felicitated Justice Rashid Ali Dar on the occasion,
R. K. Wattal, Pr. District & Sessions Judge, Jammu lauded the role of Justice Rashid Ali Dar as Judicial Officer and as Judge of J&K High Court.
He appreciated Justice Dar for his legal acumen, ability, efficiency, humility, human and judicial approach in resolving the conflicts and addressing the sufferings of seekers of justice. Besides, the care and concern of Justice Dar as a judge towards women, children down trodden and marginalized sections of the society and his contribution in the field of law and justice delivery system was also highlighted. While describing the qualities of justice Dar as noble human being, his passion for literature and his unique art of writing judgments in Urdu was also lauded.
Justice Dar expressed gratitude to the Judicial officers present on the occasion for hosting an impressive farewell event in his honour.
Rajesh Sekhri, Special Judge Anti-corruption CBI Court J&K presented vote of thanks expressing gratitude to all the distinguished guests and Judicial Officers present in the event. He also thanked Shaheen Madam Justice Dar and Daughter Faizan for joining the function.
Preet Simran Kour Munsiff Jammu conducted the proceedings during the function.
