NISHTHA Training concludes under Samagra Shiksha

JAMMU, Nov 18: The first phase of training under National Initiative for School Heads and Teachers Holistic Advancement (NISHTHA) concluded here today with emphasis on the participants to carry forward the knowledge and expertise gained in this ambitious programme to the ground level. Director School Education, Jammu, Anuradha Gupta, who was the chief guest at the valedictory ceremony, stressed the need for replicating the model on cascading mode as it is an integrated teacher training programme for improving quality of School Education. She asked the participating teachers to optimally utilize their understanding and skills attained in this training programme for larger interest of the student community. She reiterated to replicate the acquired skills and knowledge bank to other teachers of their respective districts in an organized manner. She said that district wise schedules are being prepared and the same must be followed by these KRPs and SRPs-L in a phased manner. She asked the participants to improve their level of motivation and update yourself regarding general and specialized subjects as you are the torch bearers for the students.
Later, the certificates were distributed among all the participants who attended the programme.
Chairman NISHTHA, Prof. A K Rajput, State Project Director, Dr Arun Manhas, Principal SIE, J K Sudan besides key resource persons, SRPs-L, KRPs and concerned officials were present on the occasion.
