Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 18: Although BJP has received humiliating defeat in the recently held Block Development Council (BDC) elections, some local leaders of Sangh are working overtime to protect inefficient BJP leadership which is solely responsible for this debacle.
Credible sources said that some veteran leaders, who has been associated with the party since the days of Jan Sangh, have sought attention of the Sangh leadership towards emerging dangerous trends in Hindu majority areas where National Conference and PDP's proxy candidates have captured posts of chairpersons of BDCs but no one has taken the matter serious.
Sources disclosed that some Jammu based Sangh leaders have maintained blind-eye towards victory of NC's proxy candidates in Hindu majority areas because they wanted to protect their blue-eyed BJP leadership which is running day today affairs.
Wishing not to be quoted, a veteran BJP leader told this newspaper that neither BJP leadership nor Sangh leaders are ready to accept the ground reality because both are protecting each other interests. "Some Sangh leaders are extracting maximum benefit from prevailing situation in the J&K so they are not ready to take confrontation with the incumbent leadership of BJP", sources revealed and added that these Sangh leaders have been trying to protect those who were responsible for debacle.
Credible sources further revealed that in lieu of protecting inefficient BJP leaders, these Sangh leaders are getting undue benefits by using their influence. Some top Sangh leaders have managed to lucrative positions for their kith and kin at the cost of dedicated RSS workers who have been selflessly working for the nation.
