Jammu, Nov 19: Thakur Hoshiar Singh Congress leader and JKPCC member along with the Congress workers of the area celebrated the birthday of the Late Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi.
The function included many workers of Congress and this began with paying floral Tributes to the great lady who was the first female Prime Minister of India. Thakur Hoshiar Singh in his speech after the function said ,' her name Indira Priyadarshn Gandhi was given by the first Nobel prize winner of India Rabindra Nath Tagore.'. He further stated, 'Mrs Gandhi was talked about as the iron lady of India for her fora atitude and the decisions she took. She was a lady of principles. She ensured that Pakistan was given just one part and that is what is called Pakistan as of now. She devastated East Pakistan and now the same is called as Bangladesh.' |
