Jammu, Nov 19: A colorful closing ceremony organized at Frontier HQ BSF Paloura Jammu for Bharat Darshan tour for old age persons organized by BSF.
Hardeep Singh, DIG/PSO BSF Jammu and other BSF officials welcomed the participants and interacted with them.
This capacity-building tour was flagged off on 12 Nov 2019.
As part of Confidence-building measures with old age residence hailing from the remote border area of Jammu region enjoyed the visit to various historical and cultural places of Delhi, Jaipur and Amritsar i.e Akshar Dham, Connaught Place, Humanyun Tomb, Lal Qilla, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, IGI Airport, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, National Zoological Park, Rajghat, in Delhi and Hawa Mahal, Amer Fort, various old historical places in Jaipur and Golden Temple in Amritsar also.
They also got the opportunity to witness spectacular Wagha Parade by BSF at Atari-Wagha Border.
The tour has been organized by BSF Jammu to give an opportunity to see the diversity of our nation and to widened their horizons.
All the old age participants were very happy and thanked BSF for providing this great change. |
