DPS organizes quiz competition

Kathua, Nov 19: International Delhi Public School Kathua organized a quiz competition. About 20 schools from Kathua and Jammu participated in the competition.
CEO Kathua, T.R Mangotra was the Chief Guest. The quiz masters were Navdeep Kour and Monika Verma who briefed the rules for the final four rounds of the quiz.
The first round was warm up round followed by audio visual round and buzzer round and finally rapid fire round. The audience was also involved after each of the rounds through Audience Questions which was thoroughly enjoyed by them. The questions put forth to the teams were captivating, exciting and made the audience applaud spiritedly when the teams answered correctly. The competition was tough. The result of the quiz was exciting and thrilling. The first prize winner was Stephens International School, Jammu. The second prize was bagged by International Delhi Public School Kathua. The JK Public School Kathua got the third prize. The consolation prize was won by Jammu Sanskriti School, Kathua. The prizes were distributed by Ms Nirmal Mahana, Ms Shuchita Gupta and Mr Anil Pathania.
Director Principal IDPS Kathua Shuchita Gupta also congratulated the winners and addressed that the quiz competitions help in creating interest among students to read about various topics and also sharpen the mind of the children.
