IECS organises programme on "Meet our Alumni"

Jammu, Nov 19: A program under "Meet our Alumni" theme was conducted for the students of IECS Polytechnic, Purkhoo Camp Domana, Jammu, in which ex- student of IECS Polytechnic Er Kunal Dabgotra, Engineer, Quality control Department, Sudhir Genset, Bari Brahmna, Jammu apprised final year students of Mechanical Engg.,Electrical Engg.and E&C Engg. , departments about powder coating process involved in the body of the generators. Er Kunal Dabgotra also explained in detail about electrical panels involved in generator and also the working principle of how power is generated inside the generator with the help of Cummins engine. He also explained the testing processes of generators involved after manufacturing of gensets.
Speaking on the occasion Er, Ajay Singh Jamwal, Dean (Adm) cum Training and Placement, IECS Polytechnic asserted that such programs will be very informative and exhaustive in nature which provides maximum technical exposure to polytechnic students, and making them more compatible with industrial requirements.
Er. Amit Sharma, Principal IECS Polytechnic asserted that more such programs will be conducted for the students where they will get chance to interact with the Alumnus of the Institute, who are well placed in the Industry.
