BVP Jammu conducts Bharat ko Jano Quiz competition

Jammu, Nov 20: BV P Jammu East Branch today conducted Bharat Ko Jano Quiz Competition at S. D Kanya Vidhyalay Hr. Secondary School Jullaka Mohalla. On this occasion, Yudhvir Sethi, Vice president BJP was the Chief Guest whereas Sat Pal Sharma, General Secretary, Sanatan Dharam Natak Samaj, Prabhat Singh, General Secretary, Sat Pal Rathore, Vice President, S.D Sabha were special invitees.
State President Amita Sharma and Er.Gopal Sharma, State Organising Secretary were also present on this occasion. The program commenced with lightening of Traditional lamp followed by Vande Mataram. Sh. Ved Parkash Padha, Secretary, Jammu East welcomed the audience. The quiz competition comprising nine rounds was held in Junior and Senior categories separately and rules and regulations of the competition were narrated by Jyotsna Sharma. The competition was neck to neck and two positions were decided in tie breaker in both the categories of the competition.10 teams in Junior category and 11 teams in senior category participated.
In Junior category, Delhi Public School bagged 1st position where as 2nd and 3rd positions were settled on a narrow margin in the favour of School. M Jain Hr Sec School & DBN, Mubarak Mandi. In another competition in Senior category, S. D. K. V Hr Sec School got 1st Positions followed by DPS and Oriental Academy Hr. Secondary School who jointly got 2nd position followed by DBN, Mubarak Mandi which got 3rd position.
Yudhvir Sethi praised Bharat Vikas parishad for involving youth through such competitions for overall development of the children and also appreciated the role of the organization in developing sanskars among children.
Shreshta Gupta, Principal of host school also appreciated BVP and it's other objectives.
