Jammu, Nov 20: Father and his two sons have been arrested by Akhnoor Police for assaulting on medical staff at sub district hospital Aknoor on late Tuesday night.
According to sources, Vishal Sharma, Parvesh Sharma and their father Sat Pal Sharma, trio part of a marriage party, have been arrested by Akhnoor Police for creating nuisance and assaulting doctors in duty.
"A case under section 332/353IPC have booked at Aknhoor Police Station on basis of complaints by Hospital Staff, tri have been arrested", a senior officer said, adding that however the agitating staff of the hospital demanding security sat on Dharna for while.
"Doctor on duty attacked by attendants in SDH Akhnoor on Tuesday night at 10 p.m. the trio visited hospital, as they were came for treatment in hospital and pressurized the staff on duty to make a strong case, but the doctor made on report on the basis of his observation, it made them angry and a verbal duel took place between both the parties. The angry father and his sons had a scuffle with doctor and staff", they said. |
