Jammu, Nov 20: The Department of Lifelong Learning, University of Jammu organised a one day workshop on Coaching for ST Ladakhi students in the Department here with the objective to facilitate coaching for them for NET JRF, KAS, Bank PO/Clerical examination and remedial coaching.
Dr. Kavita Suri, Director, DLL, Dr. Vivek Sharma, Sr. Assistant Professor, Coordinator Coaching, Ajaz Mir, President, Students Association of Ladakh, Jammu , Rinchan Namgyal, Vice-President, Students Association of Ladakh, Jammu, Disket Dolma, Vice- President, Aryan Students Association, Jammu, Stanzin Norboo, President, Students Educational Forum Jammu, Mohammed Aliyas, Secretary, All Ladakh Students Welfare Association, Jammu , Lobzan Paldan, President, All Zanskar students Association, Jammu were present at the occasion. Dr. Vivek Sharma, welcomed all the participants to this one day workshop on awareness building among the Ladakhi students about UGC Coaching Scheme for SC/ST/OBC/ Minorities and shared the information about the various programmes being offered by the Department of Lifelong Learning. "We have these schemes for SC/ST/OBC/ Minorities and Ladakhi students should come forward and avail the benefit of these schemes", said Dr Sharma adding that the respective representatives of various Ladakhi students organisations would spread this information among hundreds of students from their community studying in Jammu so that they are benefited by our coaching schemes. |
