UDHAMPUR, Nov 21: District Development Commissioner, Dr. Piyush Singla, today discussed modalities for construction of proposed Devika Theme Park on the banks of River Devika.
The DDC asked the construction agency to prepare estimates for the construction work of the project.
The theme park will have recreational and entertainment facilities for children besides it will act as awareness centre for spreading the message of culture heritage of Udhampur district. Theme park will also display the blue print of Devika project and will have a recreational centre to provide information to the visitors.
Theme park will have parking facility which will help long way in decongestion of traffic jam in the town, besides shall also facilitate the people coming to cremation Ghat.
The District Administration has conceptualized the said plan keeping in view the IEC components of the project Devika for which the funds are also being dovetailed from the District sector Budget.
