JAMMU, Nov 21: Krishi Vigyan Kendra(KVK), Reasi of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Jammu(SKUAST-J) organised one day long training programme on commercial agriculture here today at Malad village of Pouni block in Reasi district of J&K. Large Number of farmers of the area enthuastically participated in the programme.
Dr.Banarsi Lal, Scientist &Head of KVK, Reasi initiated the programme with the warm welcome of the farmers. He gave a detail view on commercial agriculture and said the farmers that they should divert themselves from the subsistence agriculture to commercial agriculture so that their income can be enhanced.
He suggested the farmers to keep their village neat and clean and become a part of Swachh Bharat Campaign.In this training programme many quarries were raised by the farmers which KVK scientist answered in a very satisfactorily way. The programme was concluded by Dr. Banarsi Lal with the formal vote of thanks. |
