DDC Ramban rolls out activity schedule for B2V phase II

RAMBAN, Nov 21: Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Nazim Zai Khan today rolled out the contours of activities, aim and objectives of the "Back to Village" phase -II programme here at press conference. Addressing the media persons, the DDC informed that said a Gazetted Officer shall be deployed for each Panchayat Halqa where he would stay for assessment of the developmental scenario and implementation of various government schemes/ programmes.
He informed that the programme will be conducted in all 142 Panchyats of the district for 6 days from 25th to 30th of November, 2019. He further informed that 142 officers will visit each panchayat of district, stay with public of panchayat and discuss with them their problems , issues and inform the people about different initiatives taken by the government for overall development and progress of their villages.
He requested the people to participate in this effort with zeal and affection and directed the officers to display the same sincerity and empathy that they showed during their visit to panchayat last time."
He also informed that the departments would also create awareness among the public about the schemes being implemented by them.
