DC Samba asks departments to gear up for Back to Village- Phase II

SAMBA, Nov 21: District Development Commissioner Samba, Rohit Khajuria today chaired a meeting of District and sectoral officers to discuss the modalities for implementation of Back to village programme phase-II in the district-commencing statewide from 25th November.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Rachna Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Vikas Gupta, Chief Planning Officer, Sukhleen Kour, Sub-divisional Magistrate, Vijaypur, CP Kotwal, Assistant Commissioner Development, Siddharth Dhiman, District Panchayat Officer, Piyush Dhotra besides other district officers were also present in the meeting.
During the meeting, the DDC said that Back to Village programme will be conducted in 101 Panchayats and a senior official shall stay for two days there. He said during the scheduled programme the visiting officers would be provided B2V2 booklet, general report card of Panchayat, B2V1 booklet, 4 year 14th F.C plan duly approved by DC, GPDP plan booklet, plastic disposal, flyers for individual beneficiary oriented schemes, list of eligible SECC beneficiaries under PMAY, PM. Kisan, Ayushman Bharat, pension list, besides delegation of powers to Panchayats and guidelines of all Government schemes.
The DDC, while illustrating general instruction for the district team exhorted to work in co-ordination, so that, the objectives of B2V programme are reaped by local population.
The DDC informed that a control room has been established to receive and forward all the quires besides striking a co-ordination among the district team. Necessary training will also be imparted to the visiting officers, added the DDC.
He said that on 26th November Constitution Day will be celebrated with a pledge taking ceremony. The DDC laid emphasis upon district officers to work coherently and hopedl that district shall achieve the objectives of Back to Village programme.
He said the B2V2 programme shall be held in 3 segments starting from 25 to 26 November in Block Samba, Rajpura & Nud, segment two from 27 to 28 November in Block Sumb, Bari- Brahmana, Purmandal and stage three from 29 to 30 November in block Ramgarh, Vijaypur and Ghagwal.
DDC stressed upon all district officers to put up Kiosk in Panchayats displaying the products of their respective departments, activities besides highlighting achievements. He said lead district manager would hold financial literacy camps during B2V2 programme to educate and promote digital economy in district.
