Ramban Admin holds interaction with BDC Chairmen

RAMBAN, Nov 22: District Development Commissioner, Nazim Zia Khan, today held an interaction with Block Chairmen, to review the status of works taken up under 'Back to Village' Phase-I besides reviewing arrangements for phase II of the programme.
The meeting was attended by Block Development Chairmen of various blocks, Assistant Commissioner Development, Zameer Rishu, ACR, Harbans Lal, DPO besides other senior officers of the concerned departments.
DDC said that through this ambitious programme the PRIs should take opportunity for upliftment of villages in their respective Panchayat halqas and blocks. He urged the chairmen to sensitize the people about the programme to ensure adequate participation of people in the programme.
The DDC urged the BDC Chairmen to work in close coordination with the line departments and field functionaries to ensure proper utilization of funds and timely completion of development works in their blocks.
During the interaction, the local representatives apprised the DDC about their grievances and sought early redressal. They also urged for early completion of works under 'Back to Village' Phase-I.
