YCET organizes industrial visit

Jammu, Nov 22: Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) organized an Industrial visit for 3rd semester Electrical Engineering students to "Intex Technologies and White House Industry Ltd.," Bari Brahmana.
The visit was started with Intex Technologies where the plant introduction was addressed by HR Head Yash Baghat, where they learn about the manufacturing of Speakers. The Production Manager Sanjay Pandita, briefed the students about the complete manufacturing from base to the packing of speakers.
Further followed by the visit to the White House Industry, Bari Brahmana. The students were briefed by Mr. Vinod (Overall in charge, White House industry) about the manufacturing of Geasers and explained in detail construction of voltage stabilizers and pumps. The students also visit the Line (5KVA to 10KVA). The Industrial visit was an amazing experience, provided the right exposure and proved to be a definite value addition in their professional knowledge. Er. Loveneesh Talwar (H.O.D) Electrical Engineering Department accompanied the students. Prof.(Dr) A.K Srivastava , (Director YCET) and Er. B.R Verma, (Chief Coordinator), emphasized the need of such visits with an aim to go beyond academics, as industrial visit provides students a practical perspective of the work place.
