doda, Nov 22: District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode, who is the Chairman of RTA Committee Doda, today convened a meeting with the concerned committee members regarding streamlining of public transport across the district.
DDC said that the newly sanctioned passenger vehicles will be on road within in a period of two months and will help in reducing the passenger load on the current plying vehicles.
DDC asked ARTO and traffic authorities to remain pro-active in resolving the traffic related issues in the district besides keeping close vigil on traffic rule violators.
He emphasized that the buses/mini buses should stick on the approved route permits. He stressed upon transport and traffic authorities to keep close check on overloading, over charging and irregular vehicular movement.
The meeting was attended by SP (OPR) Doda, ACR Doda, ARTO Doda and DSP Traffic and other senior officers of the concerned departments. |
