| DPS Nagbani holds on spot poem 22recitation competition | | |

Jammu, Nov 22: With an inspiring aim of promoting creativity through poetry among school students, an on spot poem recitation competition was held in DPS Nagbani today for the Pre-Primary classes. The purpose of this competition was to instil a love for poetry and to develop recitation skills amongst the students.
This activity also enabled the students to enhance their confidence, creativity and speaking skills. All the students of Pre-Primary classes participated in the competition with great enthusiasm and recited poems with beautiful actions and expressions which reflected their liking for animals, environment, vegetables and fruits. All the participants recited the poems with ease and confidence. In this poem recitation competition, the students had to excel in memorizing and reciting the poetry of their choice with confidence and great control in voice modulation, expressions and other valid criteria. The judges were highly impressed by the talent showcased by the students. The coordinator of the school Aarti Gupta appreciated the efforts put in by them and said that such kind of opportunities help the students to eradicate stage fear and build confidence. |
