| BSF Inter-Frontier wrestling competition concludes | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 22: The BSF inter-frontier wrestling competition concluded today.
The closing ceremony of Inter Frontier Wrestling competition organised in stadium Senior Secondary school Paloura camp Jammu. IG BSF STC Udhampur J B Sangwan was the chief guest during the ceremony, IG BSF Jammu N S Jamwal, other officials of Frontier were present during the ceremony. A total of 170 wrestlers participated during this competition.
BSF North Bengal Frontier won over all winner trophy in Free style wrestling and runner-up trophy won by Gujarat Frontier.In freestyle wrestling Ct Dinesh, North Bengal Frontier won gold medal in 70Kg category , Ct Manvendra won gold in 92 Kg category, in Greeco Roman category Jammu Frontier won overall winner trophy, runner trophy won by North Bengal Frontier.In individual category Greeco Roman Wrestling Ct Ajit singh won Gold medal in 60 Kg category, Ct Laxminarayan won gold in 63 Kg category, Satwinder won gold in 77 Kg category.
Dinesh Kumar won the trophy of Best Wrestler in Free style wrestling and Satyender won overall best trophy in Greeco Roman Wrestling. The School children of BSF Senior Secondary School and BSF Primary School presented colorful cultural programme during the ceremony.
IG BSF STC Udhampur JB Sangwan distributed prizes to the winners and officials during the ceremony. |
