| Musicians' day commemorated | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 22: To commemorate Musicians Day and to inculcate musical and team spirit among students Carmel Convent School celebrated Musician Day.
The mega event began with a special prayer service. The members of school choir shower cased a skit, emphasizing the role of music in a student's life and music is a way to connect and express oneself. The main highlight of the day was Inters- House Group song competition for std I-IV . It was an endeavour aimed to help to nurture and harness musical talent among young students as well as to give them an on-stage experience. "Motivational' song was the genre of music performed and theme of the occasion.
Swati applauded the students for their efforts and asked them to go beyond the boundaries of syllabus and explore their hidden potentials. |
