Jammu, Nov 30: Former Executive Officer (CO) Municipality Kalakote has allegedly made a backdoor appointment and misused funds under the district plan, allowed construction of multi-storey buildings during his service.
According to sources, the EO engaged some officials through the backdoor. Several officials were engaged by the EO, and still the same official is working in EO's office. During his stay some multi-storeyed building constructed even beyond the limit of given permission. Sources said that the EO has been accused of misusing funds in MC Kalakote. "He has faced enquiries for various 'scandals' he committed in Kalakote and Rajouri as well as he was looking after the Charge of EC MC Rajouri", sources said.
However, the ex EO MC Kalakote when contacted said that officials of MC Kalakote and Rajouri are harassing me. "I have not done anything wrong, the back door appointments are made my predecessors not me", he added.
Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Aijaz Asad wheb contacted said that he was not aware about the these things. "I will enquire this issues, if something wrong come out of it action will be taken", he added |
