Addressing media persons, they said that School Education officer promoted in various caders in the Department have suffered very badly without their regularisation as Head master since 2012 and that of Principals 2006 and others. It is pertinent to mention here that there are about 8000 Incharge gazetted officers out of which more than 2500 have attained their superannuation and hundreds have expired without confirmation and many of them are at the verge of retirement. They stated that the government has issued orders 1. Vide Govt. Order No. 707 Edu. of 2018 Dated 28.05.2018 (2) Govt. Order No. 114 GAD of 2019 Dated 23.01.2019 for backlog and fresh in respect of each gazetted category without referring the cases to the JKPSC/DPC for one time exemption of the officers for regularisation. They also said that decision was hailed by the each Gazetted Cadre of School Education officers and we are thankful to Govt. for this kind step but inspite of issuing these orders our genuine demands of regularisation of Head masters, ZEO's, remaining subject Lectures and Principals have not been fulfilled till date for which we are waiting eagerly. The officers further stated that if their demands are not fulfilled properly the education officer will adopt all the constitutional and democratic ways to get them regularized.
