JAMMU, Dec 1: Principal Secretary Industries and Commerce Navin K Choudhary today distributed blankets, hearing aid, clutches and other material among the old aged and differently abled people in a function organized by the District Red Cross Society Jammu.
The beneficiaries were from R. S. Pura border, Akhnoor, Bagh-e-Bahu and Bishnah. Navin K Choudhary, while addressing on the occasion, appreciated the yeomen services being extended by the District Red Cross Society towards the cause of the society. He highlighted the objective and activities of the Society saying that volunteer services are always needed for survival of mankind on the earth since time immemorial.
State Secretary, Red Cross Society, Khifyat Hussain Rizvi, also informed the people about the functioning of Red Cross Society. |
