Rajni Bala starts development work of Public Park at Upper Roop Nagar

JAMMU, Dec 1: Corporator Rajni Bala started development work of Public Park at Sector No 7, Upper Roop Nagar here today in presence of prominent people of the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajni Bala said that a long pending demand of residents of Upper Roop Nagar has been met which was pending since long and the development of same will benefit the locals as a good infrastructure will be provided to the inhabitants of the area. She also appealed to the people of the area to contribute some of their time for keeping their localities clean and green. She also laid stress upon the officials to maintain quality of work in the area. She said that Rs 5 lakh will be spent for the development of the park.
Rajni Bala said that the Ward No 60 of Jammu city will be developed and the development works will be taken in some time to avoid public distress.
Later, Rajni Bala along with prominent people of the area toured other adjoining areas and asked the concerned officials to prepare the estimates for pending works in the area so that their works can also be taken up soon in order to avoid public distress. She also met with a large number of people and was apprised of their demands and grievances.
Rajni Bala assured the people of the area that all the works related to development will be taken up at the earliest. She also sought cooperation of the people in implementing the development programmes on ground level.
Among others who were present included Uttam Chand Sharma, Bal Krishan Sharma, Rahul Padha, Uttam Vaid, Ch Rashid, Virender Mehta, Rajinder Mehta, Ramesh Singh and Gokal.
