Education officers demand regularization

Jammu, Dec 1: School Education Officer today demanded regularization policy said that without promotion in-charge schools suffered badly
Addressing a Press Conference here Roop Lal, State Co-ordinator School Education Officer sought immediate regularisation.
"The School Education officers promoted in various caders in the Department have suffered very badly without their regularisation as Head master since 2012 and that of Principals 2006 etc", he said, adding that there are about 8000 in-charge gazetted officers out of which more than 2500 have attained their superannuation and hundreds have expired without confirmation and many of them are at the verge of retirement.
"The government has issued orders Order No. 707 Edu. Of 2018 Dated 28.05.2018, Govt. Order No. 114 GAD of 2019 Dated 23.01.2019 for backlog and fresh in respect of each gazetted category without referring the cases to the JKPSC/DPC for one time exemption of the officers for regularisation", he said, adding that the decision was hailed by the each Gazetted Cadre of School Education officers and we are thankful to Govt. for this kind step but inspite of issuing these orders our genuine demands of regularisation of Head masters, ZEO's, remaining subject Lectures and Principals have not been fulfilled till date for which we are waiting eagerly.
He said that the officers have full faith with the present government for looking forward to meet our genuine demands at earliest that the officers may not suffer any more.
"The School education officers appeal to Lieutenant Governor of J&K Union Territory to regularise all incharge Gazetted Officers on priority basis.
The officers further stated that if their demands are not fulfilled properly the education officer will adopt all the constitutional and democratic ways to get them regularized", he added.
