MENDHAR, Dec 1: The annual Urs of Peer Baba Chhote Shah Badshah concluded at the Shrine near Mankote in Mendhar Sub Division here today.
The devotees from all the faiths from Rajouri and Poonch attended this grand three-day religious programme.
The Shrine management had made elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of this programnme. The SDM Mendhar Dr Sahil Jandyal and SDPO Neeraj Padyar Tehsildar Mendhar Dr Vikram Kumar Tehasildar Mankote Mohd Younis Mirza SHO Mendhar Tahir Yousaf Khan Sarpanch Sakimadan Mohd Bashir Khan and several other officers from the Sub Divisional Administration also took part in the concluding programme at the shrine.
A large community `Langar' was also arranged for the devotees visiting this shrine from all areas of these border districts. |
