| DC Kathua reviews physical, financial progress of PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control sector | | |  Early Times Report
KATHUA, Dec 2: District Development Commissioner, O P Bhagat today reviewed the progress of PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control Department under District Sector, State Sector, Centrally Sponsored Schemes, languishing projects and BADP.
DDC took a detailed review of ongoing projects besides reviewing the progress achieved under regular schemes, NABARD, LIC, NRDWP etc. It was apprised that few schemes are in progress and few are completed besides the ongoing schemes will be completed by March 2020.
The DDC instructed the concerned engineers to strictly adhere to quality parameters while executing the projects and closely monitor the pace of work. He further exhorted them to put in their best efforts to achieve the targets within fixed timeline.
He also directed the concerned officers to ensure regular water supply to the public besides irrigation facilities and flood control measures at required places.
He assured full co-operation of district administration to fast track the pace of all developmental projects besides resolving all issues proactively and removing bottlenecks if any in the timely execution of the projects.
Superintendent Engineer, Hydraulic Circle Kathua Suresh Sabherwal, Chief Planning Officer, Uttam Singh, Executive Engineer PHE Surjit Singh, Executive Engineer Flood Control Division Kathua Om Raj and other senior officers of the concerned department were present in the meeting. |
