Jammu, Dec 2: In the wake of intense cold and bad weather conditions in Jammu and Kashmir, French Club of Jammu inaugurated a 'Wall of Kindness ' at Bahu Plaza wherein woollen clothes were distributed among the poor and homeless people.
Baldev Singh Billawaria, Chairman, Public Health Sanitation Committee, JMC was the chief guest on the occasion, he said," everyone who can afford must donate food and clothes to the needy especially during the winter season. Many homeless people are seen roaming in different parts of the city who could now get warm clothes from this 'Wall of Kindness'. Residents of the city were also urged by the members of the club to donate warm clothes at the wall in Bahu Plaza generously for the poor. The event was organised in coordination with Bahu Plaza association and Infobug.
The program was held under the supervision of Arun Sharma, President, French Club and among those who were present included Amar Chouhan from Infobug, Ravinder Pal Singh, Sakshi Gupta, Arushi Mahajan and Srishti Tagotra. |
