Udhampur, Dec 2: Police today recovered a kidnapped girl, a resident of Krimchi Mansar, who was missing since June this year.
Rajiv Pandey, SSP Udhampur while taking to media persons said, "Based on the complaint of her family members, A case FIR No. 300/2019 U/S 363 RPC was lodged at PS Udhampur and police team of Police Station Udhampur led by Inspector Vijay Singh Choudhary was constituted, which raided at different suspected locations in J&K and Punjab as the accused kept on shifting their places."
He said that based on reliable input Udhampur Police finally saved the kidnapped girl from the kidnapper namely Ajay Kumar resident of Birma Bridge, Udhampur, who was arrested on the spot by the police party from Jammu and brought back the kidnapped girl safely to PS Udhampur. The Girl was handed over to her family after the proper legal procedure. |
