SC, ST, BC Dev Corporation celebrate constitution day

Jammu, Dec 2: The management and staff of J&K SC, ST & BC Development Corporation today celebrated Constitution Day(National Law Day) also known as Samvidhan Divas in its office premises.
Dr. Bharat Bhushan, Managing Director of the Corporation while recalling the exalted rich values and precepts enshrined in the Indian Constitution, remembered the contribution made by one of the revered framer Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedker, also known as architect of the India Constitution for his stellar contribution and Socio-Political understanding in drafting such a living and dynamic document for governing us. Besides this, he also acknowledge the contribution made by Dr. Saheb for giving voice to the poor and marginalized sections of the societies and emancipation of women.
While lauding the significance of Indian Constitution also, he made his staff aware about the fundamental rights and duties enshrined in the Constitution. He enjoined upon the officers/officials that besides enjoying the fundamental rights, every citizen has fundamental duties towards his nation which need to be performed with utmost dedication and devotion.
Later on, the officers/officials present on the occasion paid floral tributes to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and were administered oath by the Managing Director of the Corporation abide by the values enshrined in the constitution besides stressing them to work hard for the welfare of the society and preservation of environment and cultural heritage for the society. The officers who were present on the occasion Mohd Yaseen Financial Advisor/Chief Accounts Officer, M.Iqbal Kataria, Deputy General Manager projects, Anil Gupta Manager Finance, Smt. Anu Gupta Administrative Office, Kuldeep Kumar Manager Recovery besides District Managers of Jammu, Udhampur, Samba and Reasi Districts. V.K. Sehgal, Founder Chairman, Tourism promotion Council also participated in the celebration.
