REASI, Dec 2: Employment Department Reasi organised a special mobilisation drive in collaboration with the Labour Department to undertake widespread dissemination of information about the two pension schemes, Pradhan Mantri Laghu Vyapari Maandhan Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana for enrolment of eligible traders, shopkeepers and self employed in the district headquarters.
Centre government had introduced pension schemes for small businessmen and retail traders to provide them old age protection in the form of monthly minimum assured pension. Enthusiastic shopkeepers expressed overwhelming response and willingness to enroll under the schemes. |
