Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 4: Senior Congress leader and former Jammu Municipal Corporation chairman Satish Sharma has attacked the Modi government at the Centre over the skyrocketing inflation and 50 percent increase in mobile phone calls while addressing reporters in his office on Wednesday.
Satish quoting a 2013 statement of Prime Minister Modi that when Modi ji was the CM of Gujarat, onion had become 40 rupees per kg during the UPA government at the Center, then Modi ji had said that now we have to open lockers in bank for onions.
Satish Sharma retorted on this statement of Modi ji that now that onion has crossed 100 rupees and Modi ji is the Prime Minister of the country, then please tell the people of the country that now in which bank the people should open lockers and keep the onion safe.
Satish Sharma said that the pair of Modi and Amit Shah kept the country entangled in Hindu Muslims issues so that public attention could not come to the real issues. But now mobile call costs have increased after the approval of the Central Government and most of the burden falls on the poor and middle class people. Satish did not stop there, He said that the country's GDP has come to 4.50, the most impact is on the employment of youths. Many prominent companies of the country have retrenched and removed lakhs of people.
Satish said that in order to awaken this dumb muted external government, now the people will have to come out freely and have to make a huge movement.
Otherwise, this power hungry government will get rid of the country assests by selling them one by one and will make the country debt ridden.
Ward President Gautam Sharm, and Block Secretary Om Prakash Sharma were also present on this occasion.
