| Cradle box installed for carrying food grains at Soharbhatti Dachhan | | |  Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Dec 4: To facilitate locals and for carrying of food grains in Dachhan area, a cradle box has been installed at Soharbhatti Dachhan by PWD(R&B) Division Marwah within 05 days on the directions of District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana.
It is pertinent to mention here that, during the visit of SDM Marwah, Dr. Javed Iqbal Rather to Sounder, Dacchan he crossed a river near Soharbhatti Dachhan via traditional rope and then subsequently requested the DDC Kishtwar to install a cradle box over the said river so that the distance be reduced.
DDC immediately took cognizance of the suggestions of SDM Marwah for installation of cradle box, and directed concerned executing agencies to install a cradle box and within a short span of 05 days the cradle box has been installed.
DDC informed that the said craddle box will help locals as well as Department of FCS&CA to carry food grains for dumping and to serve the general public in winters vigorously.
He further added that the work of road is in fast pace for Dacchan area and meanwhile due to the installation of said cradle box the dumping of govt. ration for locals will be expedite which may also reduce a distance of about 18 km as compared to the track which was followed before.
In this regard, DDC appreciated the role of XEN R&B Marwah Rajesh Sumberia, AEE Aslam Lone and VLW Subash Chander for putting best efforts in the early completion of cradle box while working in the severe cold conditions. |
