Jammu, Dec 4: Carmel Higher Secondary School Kunjwani organized an investiture ceremony with great pomp and show.
The event was presided over by Sukhdeep Singh, (KAS) presently working as an Accounts Officer in Jammu. The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp, signifying removal of darkness, followed by an inspiring play titled "The Potter and The Clay". The play highlighted the theme that we are all clay in the hands of the Almighty who moulds and shapes us into a well formed human being.
Likewise, every Carmelite is moulded by her teacher. She transforms her into a power woman. The event began by a meaningful prayer service during which the outgoing cabinet members laid down their badges and sashes at the feet of their Alma Mater, Mother of Carmel. It was a heart rendering experience as the students emotionally laid down their bag of duties.
The Chief Guest along with School Principal Maria Swati A.C. vested them with sashes and badges. Hersheen Kour, the new School Pupil leader, took oath on behalf of her entire team and pledged to bestow the best of their abilities. In their speeches, all the council members promised to carry their duties with integrity, faith and excellence. |
