| DPS Nagbani organises Jungle day celebration | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 4: Delhi Public School Nagbani today organized 'Jungle Day' celebration on the theme 'Save Wild Life'.
The theme attempted to explain the crucial need, the steps that we can take to preserve and try the best in minimizing the threats faced by them.
The theme of wild animals was beautifully explained to the children of Pre Primary section. Each child was dressed up as a wild animal. The whole school was decorated as per the theme. Children had fun as they learnt the sounds and habits of different animals.
A variety of educational activities were organized as per the interests of the children. These activities included nature based games, talks that focused on raising awareness about the conservation of wildlife. A movie on the theme was also shown to these children. The aim of celebrating jungle day was to teach the students through games and other fun activities the most effective way to safeguard our natural heritage and the world's most loved animals and also the most threatened wild animals.
Aarti Gupta, Coordinator of the school appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers and said that looking at how the children have taken up the responsibility to save the wildlife, the future surely looks promising. |
