Jammu, Dec 4: Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region organised an eight days first-Aid training programme for the employees of Zone-By the Park.
The training was coordinated by Nisha, HR Manager. During the session, Dr. Shelly Mahajan, MD Anaesthesia, Medical Officer, IRCS told about do's and don'ts in situations like injuries, snake bites, accidents, fire incidents, electric shock, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), etc.
She also demonstrated keeping in mind how to handle fainting and unconscious patient. Practical's of CPR/ Choking was done with active participation of the employees. Emergency technique of handling bleeding patient, Fracture/accident victims was also emphasized. She was assisted by Kanchan Devi, Sup Pharmacist IRCS, Jammu Region.
The exam was conducted by Dr. Kavita Nijhon was assisted by Joginder Kumar, Pharmacist.
In the end, Dinesh Gupta, Hony. Secretary gave details on activities of Red Cross Society.
