Four day AGRI-FEST 'KAIROS 3' concludes

Jammu, Dec 4: Four days AGRI-FEST 'KAIROS 3' comprising of literary, cultural and sports events concluded at Main Campus Chatha of SKUAST Jammu with the distribution of prizes among the winners. Dr KS Risam, Vice Chancellor, was the chief guest on the valedictory function who in his address appreciated the efforts of Organizing Committee and the students in organizing the Agri-Fest-2019. Dr DP Abrol, Chairmanship of the Event and Dean Faculty of Agriculture informed the house that in future such type of festivals will be organized in the faculty of agriculture and assured the students for whole hearted support in such events and motivated students to actively participate in such events. Dr.TAS Ganai Director Education informed that such type of events inculcates the habit of completion, sportsmanship, team building and leadership among the students. The winners of the various events including students as well as faculty members were also felicitated with the awards and certificates. Ali Haider Shah was awarded as the Best Student Organizer whereas Dr Arvinder Singh as Best Teacher Organiser of the event. Chairman and members of different committees were also felicitated with mementos for their tireless efforts in organizing this event. Formal vote of thanks.
was presented by Dr Prashant Bhakshi, Chairman Management Committee. Besides HODS, faculty members, UG/PG students, the valedictory function was attended by Dr. J. P. Sharma Director Research, Dr Deepak Kher Director Planning, Mr. Rajesh Talwar Registrar and President Teaching Association SKUAST-J Dr. Vikas Sharma.
