Jammu, Dec 5: Indian Red Cross Society, J&K Chapter today celebrated the International Volunteer Day, 2019 at Red Cross Bhawan, Jammu to to celebrate the power and potential of volunteerism with the theme "Volunteer for an inclusive future".
Kifayat Hussain Rizvi (IAS Retd.), General Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, J&K attended the event as Chief Guest and Dinesh Gupta, Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region was the Guest of Honour.
In his welcome address Imran Muzaffar welcomed all the dignitaries, guests & volunteers. Muzaffar expressed gratitude to all the volunteers associated with Indian Red Cross Society in J&K and serving people in many ways and wished them a Happy International Volunteer Day. The dignitaries present during the occasion include Dr. Ranbushan Singh, Member, Regional Red Cross Committee, Rajinder Singh, O.P. Gupta, Uma Sharma, Kamal Kishore, Vijay Magotra, Dr. Shelly Mahajan, representatives from Tawi Welfare Society & Gram Vikas Sangh, volunteers & staff of Indian Red Cross Society. |
