| JKMF demands release of BSNL W&W staff's wages, tower sites' rent | | |

JAMMU, Dec 6: Alleging that the BSNL authorities are not paying rent and Watch & Ward (W&W) charges for BTS sites of BSNL to the poor employees for the last 13 months, the Jammu & Kashmir Milchar Front (JKMF) said that due to the non-payment the persons engaged for the job are suffering badly.
In a press statement issued here today, the State President Jammu & Kashmir Milchar Front, Shamboo Nath Saproo has appealed the Prime Minister to look into demand of the poor watch & ward employees of BSNL of J&K state, as they have been deprived of their monthly wages for last 13 months where as the officer's of the company are drawing their hefty amount of pay dues regularly. The poor watch & wards are at a point of coming on streets and begging if no action is taken, he added.
Saproo also appealed to the Communication Minister and Lieutenant Governor of J&K to personally intervene and redress the genuine grievances of these watch & ward employees' of Mobile towers and immediately release their 13 months' salary. |
