BJP Mahila Morcha holds protest against Hyderabad rape case
12/6/2019 10:32:52 PM

Early Times Report

JAMMU, Dec 6: A silent protest was organized by the members of the BJP Mahila Morcha today against the rape and murder of a young medico in Hyderabad. The protest was led by the President of the BJP Mahila Morcha Rajni Sethi along with the cadres of the morcha and a large number of women activists. The protesters raised slogans against the outrage committed on a young woman by a group of highly criminal minded and anti-social elements. The protesters raised serious questions over the state of women safety in Hyderabad and many other parts of the country where such heinous acts of violence are perpetrated against the women.
There was a nationwide outrage over the incident and members of the civil society were demanding death sentence for rapists and murderers and today's incident where all the four have been shot dead, while trying to escape the police dragnet, comes as a poetic justice and retribution for the dastardly crime against the society. A sense of relief is being felt by the members of the civil society for quick justice having been served in this case. Rajni Sethi while expressing her outrage over the incident said that the women of this country are not going to tolerate such acts anymore. She expressed her satisfaction over the efficient work done by the Hyderabad police in bringing the culprits to book and not allowing them to escape.
