RAJOURI, Dec 6: Commissioner Secretary to Government PWD (R&B), Khurshid Ahmed today inspected the pace of work on upcoming sports stadium Kheora and additional 200 bedded District Hospital building, here.
District Development Commissioner Rajouri Mohammad Nazir Sheikh, Chief Engineer PWD, Nasir Ahmed Goni, Chief Engineer PMGSY, Des Raj Bhagat, Chief Engineer JKPCC, N.D Khawaja, Superintendent Engineer, PWD, P.C Tanoch, Superintendent Engineer, PMGSY, Rajan Mengi, Executive Engineer PWD, Division, Rajouri Mohammad Zubair and concerned officers of PWD also accompanied the Secretary. Inspecting the progress on Sports Complex project being executed by PWD, the Secretary was informed that the work on indoor and outdoor stadium is in final stage and would be completed by end of the current month. It was informed that the construction cost of indoor and outdoor stadium, approved under languishing projects scheme, is Rs 5.64 crore. The Commissioner Secretary directed the concerned officers to speed up the work and strictly adhere to the specifications and deadlines in the construction cum completion of the projects. He emphasised on ensuring the quality of work. |
