JAMMU, Dec 6: Lawrence Public School, Panjtirthi, celebrated its 34th Annual Day at Abhinav theatre.
Chief Electoral Officer J&K Ladakh UT's, Shailendra Kumar participated as the Chief Guest in the 34th Annual Day celebrations of the Lawrence Public School and launched Electoral Literacy Clubs for future voters and declared Lawrence Public school as the First Nodal School of Jammu. The Guest of Honour for the programme was Pushpa Devi mother of Advisor to Lt. Governor K.K. Sharma, whereas the Special guests included Padamshree Dr. S.P. Varma, Johnny William I.G.P. (Retd) and Dr. Sunali Joshi Kashyap. The program started with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the Chief Guest Shailendra Kumar IAS, Guest of Honour, Padamshree S.P Verma, Johnny William I.G.P. (Retd) and Dr. Sunali Joshi Kashyap in the presence of Chairman Lawrence Public School Wg Cdr M. M Joshi. Principal of the School Tejinder Kour presented the welcome address and the school annual report. Guest of Honour. Pushpa Devi, mother of Advisor to Lt. Governor K.K Sharma was honoured by the Chairman Lawrence Public School, Chief Guest and the Guest of Hounor. A very vibrant and educative programme was presented by the students of the School. More than 1200 students performed in various items presented on this occasion. Other prominent citizens were Sohan Ullah Tamiri, Sohail Qazmi , Dr. Taran Singh ,Ch. Khalid Hussain , Mohd. Aslam Qureshi, Shailender Vaid , Esther William, Prabha Jain , Neru Puri , Usha Jamwal and Dikshit.
