MV International School celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Dec 6: MV International School celebrated its 15thAnnual Function "Zest-2019" with remarkable enthusiasm and passion at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu. S K Sharma, IRS, Additional Commissioner of Income Tax, Jammu adorned the occasion as Chief Guest, Raza Murad, Bollywood Actor, who has acted in more than 250 films from 1965 till date, some of the recent movie hits are Padmavat, Bajirao Mastani, Jodha Akbar and many decorated the event by his presence as the Celebrity Guest, Ramesh Mathur, Founder Teacher from Mayo College Ajmer, Municipal Corporators, Block development Officers and sarpanchs of District Jammu, Samba and Kathua were present during the august celebration as the Special Guests. Seventeen (17) Lenovo Laptops were presented to meritorious students of class 12th who scored above 90% marks in CBSE examinations. Eleven (11) subject wise 100% scorers of class 12th were also felicitated during the program. Cash scholarships worth `50,000 were awarded to top 5 students of class 10th CBSE result. Earlier, the program commenced with the Lighting of the Lamp and divine invocation of Lord Ganesha. Pathan Thapa, Head Boy and Sangeeta Rana, Head Girl welcomed the guests. Gourav Abrol Director, MVIS shared the voyage of MV International School and vision for expanding its growth in all dimensions. The cultural program suitably named as ZEST-2019, displayed the hues of our culture and its celebrations. LKG andUKG students set the stage on fire by their 'Alluring Flutter' followed by 'Puppet Dance' by class 6th; students of Pre-Nursery, Nursery and UKG presented the voice of jungle in form of 'Rapport Reverence'; classes 1st and 2nd came up with a foot tapping presentation on 'Jovial Pizzazz'. 'Kathak Dance' by class 4th was followed by an interesting presentation with UV lights depicting the 'Cube Dance'.
