JAMMU, Dec 7: The bi-annual congregation of Baba Mai Mal Ji at Devsthan Dori Dager in tehsil Akhnoor is being held on 12-12-2019. The general public has been requested to join the occasion and pay obeisance at the Devsthan.
This mela is organized bi-annually on the occasion of Jeshtha Purnima in the memory of the great farmer revolutionary Baba Mai Mal Ji at his martyrdom place Dori Dager nearly 80 km from here where Baba Ji laid down his life fighting for the rights of farming community against the feudal system nearly 500 years ago.
Thousands of devotees of Baba Ji throng to the Devsthan bi-annually and offer prayers to seek blessings.
